2. Description of Service

BookWorm-Me is an AI-powered platform that creates personalized children's books. Users upload photos and provide story preferences, and our artificial intelligence generates custom stories and illustrations. We offer both digital downloads and printed book options.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Ensuring all information you provide is accurate and current

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all photos and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (generating your personalized book). We will not:

• Share your photos with third parties except as needed to generate your book
• Use your photos for marketing without explicit consent
• Retain your photos beyond the period necessary to provide the Service

5. AI-Generated Content

Stories and illustrations are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for quality and appropriateness, AI-generated content may occasionally contain imperfections. You may review and edit generated content before finalizing your book. You own the rights to the final personalized book created through our Service for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Pricing is displayed before purchase. For printed books:

• Orders are final once submitted for printing
• Refunds may be issued for defective or damaged products
• Shipping times are estimates and may vary
• Currently, printed books ship to US addresses only

Digital downloads are non-refundable once delivered. If you experience issues with your download, please contact our support team.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of individuals without their consent (or parental consent for minors)
• Use the Service to create harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service
• Resell or commercially distribute books created through the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is designed for parents and guardians to create books for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All account creation and photo uploads must be performed by a parent or legal guardian. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
